店家簡介
緙(ㄎㄜˋ)絲，起源於四千年前的古埃及緙毛工藝，此工藝於漢朝時期經由絲綢之路傳至中國，並於唐宋時期與中國的蠶絲融合成為了「緙絲工藝」，緙絲工藝兼具富麗堂皇、輕薄舒適、堅韌耐用三種特質，自古以來一直作為皇室御用衣物、掛飾、裝裱使用，現在您也有機會近距離觀賞、學習、體驗這項被譽為「織中之聖」的傳統工藝。
Huang Lan Ye K'o-ssu is currently Taiwan’s only team dedicated to “K'o-ssu” and mainly exports customized products to Japan. "K'o-ssu" means "weft weaving” with silk. The greatest feature of K'o-ssu is a kind of tatting technique in which the warp threads fully extend but the weft ones do not. Weavers thread weft threads of different colors on different shuttles and use the shuttles as pens to form complicated patterns. This silk weaving technique has arisen 2,000 ago in China. The ancient people used K'o-ssu and silk to weave royal gown for emperors. Visitors can experience this significant silk weaving technique firsthand in the workshop.
品牌特色
中國緙絲工藝在唐宋時期傳至日本，同樣專門用於皇室御用品的織作，於近代也被用於織作日本和服，在日本將緙絲稱之為「綴織」，而在日治時期開始日本的綴織工藝逐漸被傳到臺灣，在民國60年代臺日工商合作頻繁，綴織工藝開始正式的在臺灣發芽，黃蘭葉藝師則是當年第一批學習綴織工藝的技術員，而後黃蘭葉藝師自主學習、改良、研發……融合了日本保留完整的綴織工藝與中國自古以來精雕細琢的緙絲還有臺灣藝術不受傳統拘束的特色，形成了世界上只有黃蘭葉藝師獨有緙絲工藝。
